Stars of Tomorrow is a singing competition for children between the ages of 13-19. The intent is to gain experience, exposure, and the opportunity to pursue a singing career. Additionally, all funds raised from the event will support Variety of Georgia.

The first stage of the competition is a call for talent throughout Georgia. Talent will submit their videos here. After the submissions have been approved, videos will be posted at Youtube.com/varietyofgeorgia. Contestants will have the opportunity to share their videos. A judge will review all contestants and decided on a Top 20.

The Top 20 will perform in a preliminary round held at The Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA on January 13th 2013. Contestants will be judged and a Top 10 will be selected that evening.

The final event will be a professional produced show which will include a master of ceremonies, entertainment, and group and individual performances. The Top 10 will perform and compete at The Egyptian Ballroom at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on March 17th. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of the competition and awards will be given to the 2nd and 3rd place runner up. Prizes included for all three winners include, photo shoot, demo CD, and an audition for local play.

Competition Timeline:

September 20th 2012	begin accepting talent submissions.
October 25th 2012	begin posting videos to www.youtube.com/Varietyofgeorgia
November 16th 2012	submission for talent search ends
November 16th 2012	begin notification of the Top 20 contestants. All other talent will receive email notifications.
November 16th 2012	Top 20 contestants must prepare their music for the preliminary round.
January 13th 2013	Top 20 to perform at The Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
March 17th 2013	Silent Auction begins at 3pm, Show begins at 4pm
March 17th 2013	Top 10 to perform in the Egyptian Ballroom at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
